Nova Scotia earns two bronze medals at Montreal Open Goalball Tournament

Nova Scotia just got a little more bronzed!

Congratulations to the Nova Scotia A women’s goalball team and the Nova Scotia men’s goalball team for earning bronze last weekend, at the 23rd Montreal Open Goalball tournament hosted by Association sportive des aveugles du Québec – ASAQ.

At just 15 years old, Harry Nickerson of Nova Scotia won the tournament top scorer award, with 39 goals!

For the NS A women, this is their second year in a row securing a medal, winning silver in 2024. This marks three years in a row the NS men’s team have brought a medal home from the Montreal Open. The Nova Scotia B women’s team placed 6th overall.
